The new VS Security Products DataGone LG Plus is an automatic pulse degausser for hard disk drive and tape erasing. The DataGone LG Plus degausser uses a very powerful "capacitive discharge" of up to 13,000 Gauss. This powerfull electromagnetic discharge ensures information on hard disks and magnetic tapes is removed quickly, safely and irreparably. The automatic degauss procedure is controlled by a processor, ensuring effective operation.

The VS Security Products DataGone LG Plus degausser can be used stand-alone or can be connected to a PC via a USB cable. Using the included Data Destruction Auditor software, extensive information about each degauss cycle can be stored for auditing or reporting purposes. With the optional barcode scanner, information such as serial numbers can easily be added to the log.

The optional DD Imager module is the perfect solution for complete media destruction auditing. Capture high quality images from each hard drive to accompany detailed erasure records, ensuring the utmost security and compliance for your data disposal needs. The DD Imager effortlessly integrates with the Data Destruction Auditor software and adds invaluable visual proof to your erasure records. The DD Imager not only capture these crucial images but also incorporates them into erasure certificates. This feature ensures that every step of the media destruction process is meticulously documented.

Also optionally available is a label printer to print a label sticker after every degauss cycle showing all relevant information such as date, time, serial number and degauss result. These label stickers can be applied to erased hard drives for verification.

Hard disk drives or tapes are inserted into the degausser through the input opening on the left. The DataGone LG Plus will detect the media and automatically start the degauss process. After the discharge of the magnetic pulse, the media is automatically ejected from the device on the right-hand side. The entire degauss cycle only takes 9 seconds.

The DataGone LG Plus has a non-continuous use cycle and can process an average of 200 hard disks or tapes per hour. In addition to 3.5", 2.5" and 1.8" hard disks, the DataGone LG Plus is also suitable for erasing various tape formats. The capacity and versatility make the DataGone LG Plus one of the most effective degaussers.
