The Garner TS-4XT-e IRONCLAD combines the very powerful TS-4XT-e degausser with the unique Garner IRONCLAD verification system. The Garner Products TS-4XT-e is the most powerful hard drive degausser on the market. The Garner TS-4XT-e offers a minimum field strength of 30,000 Gauss and a maximum of 40,000 Gauss. This makes the Garner TS-4XT-e suitable for erasing all current and future hard disks. The Garner TS-4XT-e IRONCLAD degausser is suitable for fast and effective erasing of hard drives and offers a complete verification system.
The degausser works very simply; media is loaded into the Garner TS-4XT-e through the front tray. The degauss cycle of only 28 seconds is started at the touch of a button; a very strong electromagnetic pulse of at least 30,000 Gauss is sent through the data carrier.
The unique Garner IRONCLAD system consists of an automatic camera module, a touchscreen control panel, a barcode scanner and the Garner Erasure Report software. Information from each hard drive such as serial number, date/time and user ID is captured via the software and barcode scanner before erasing. After degaussing, the external camera module takes a picture of the top of the ejected hard disk. The photograph of each degauss cycle, along with the degauss result and other entered information, is recorded in the IRONCLAD log for auditing or reporting purposes.
To ensure that information on hard drives and tapes is effectively deleted, the Garner TS-4XT-e has a number of built-in security measures; The degausser checks the stored power before each cycle. A built-in Gauss sensor also measures the magnetic field with each discharge. Any malfunctions are shown on the LCD display. This ensures correct operation of the degausser.
The Garner TS-4XT-e can optionally be supplied with a mobile transport case. This allows the system to be transported safely and easily for on-site hard drive erasing. The Garner TS-4XT-e can optionally be combined with the Garner PD-5-e Crusher for physical destruction after degaussing.
