The ProDevice MMD360 Media Terminator is a manually operated destroyer for hard disk drives and other data carriers. The ProDevice MMD360 is manually operated and does not require electricity for use. Move the lever down and a steel pin will perforate the hard disk. A force of up to 4.5 tons is generated.

The ProDevice MMD360 Terminator makes it easy to create multiple holes in a hard disk drive. The platters, reading head, motor and electronics of the hard disk drive are irreparably damaged. The MMD360 Media Terminator can also be used to physically damage other data carriers such as SSD's, mobile phones and flash memory.

Usually a hard disk drive is first erased using a degausser so all information present on the platters is removed. After this, a hard disk can be punctured with the ProDevice MMD360 Terminator so that the disk is visually verifiable damaged. Combining erasing (degaussing) and physically damaging hard disk drives ensures that disks no longer contain information and are no longer accessible.

The base of the destroyer is very stable and equipped with anti-slip gum. The handle has a safety lock which locks the destroyer when the device is not in use. Due to the compact design and low weight, the ProDevice MMD360 destroyer is suitable for destroying data carriers at any location. The operation of the system requires a minimum amount of force from the user. The MMD360 destroyer can therefore be operated by everyone.
